About the event
Led by:
Thavone Huinil-Phommavongsa is a compassionate therapist and Life Coach based in Grand Rapids, MI. As co-owner of Intentional Life Counseling & Addictions Treatment and Papaya Tree Coaching & Consulting, she specializes in trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care for individuals, couples, and families.
A Lao refugee herself, Thavone advocates for accessible mental health services and works extensively with diverse populations. She is a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). In addition to her clinical work, Thavone serves as a Senior Adjunct Professor at Grand Valley State University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Metaphysics.
In her personal life, Thavone enjoys spending time in nature, with animals, and exploring diverse cuisines. She values time spent with her blended family of five children and embraces the beauty of the outdoors.
